I'm Back From The Freedom Concert

Well, the trip went off without a hitch. My station took about 120 people with us to San Diego to the Hannity Freedom Concert that benefited the Freedom Alliance.

We all had a blast, and we were able to escort Spc. Carter and his wife backstage to meet a bunch of great folks. Spc. Carter just got back from Iraq 5 days before the concert, and we made sure that he and his wife could join us on the trip.

When my station went on stage (the only one) we presented a $10,000 check to Hannity for the Freedom Alliance. The Vegas crowd was only about 120 people, but their cheers for us were deafening!

I'm only going to post a couple of pics from the trip because I don't like the way most came out. I'm in the green shirt. Please note that this is after a VERY long day.

UPDATE:

While I was out of town some of the questions I had about the story were answered. I have also been receiving emails, and comments, in response to the situation saying that Rowe was set up, or referring to the Fox News story that states Rowe proved his innocents. Unfortunately, for Rowe's supporters his claims appear to be false.

Rowe is claiming this is a paperwork error on the part of the Army, and Rowe says he provided honorable discharge paperwork. The Army is singing a different tune:

After Arguing Like Children ... The Senate Agrees To Have Vote Removed From Record

Wow, this is embarrassing. Not only did the Senate (supposed to be the more dignified of Congress) behave like immature children, but then they had a vote removed from the public record.

This is beyond disgusting! If I were Israel I would start executing prisoners until they returned Gilad Shalit, Eldad Regev, and Ehud Goldwasser alive and well as required by UN resolution 1701.

Apparently a contractor wanted to sell the secrets to other countries. Not expose the truth about Iraq's WMD's to more publicity.

Sports Cars To Be Outlawed

I have long wondered why our beloved SUV's have been labeled as the worst cars on the road for global warming. Why is it that we only talk about improving an SUV's gas mileage? After all, they are not the least fuel efficient vehicles on the road.

I suppose this could be just another way of communism working to attack the American family, or it could simply be that rich people who own carbon credit companies don't want to get rid of their toys. In either case, Europe is looking to ban sports cars.

Pwned! I've already told you that carbon credits are a scam, and have been proven to be in three investigations ... including one by the UN. The US has also reduced emissions more that the Kyoto countries, and now Guyana is uber pissed.

Charges Against Haditha Marines May Be Dropped

I've been telling you for a while now that the case against the Marines is weak at best. We know there was an ambush (sorry Murtha), there is audio and video evidence that appears to prove the Marines' innocence, the video was shot by a terrorist sympathizer, and it showed up after a very lengthly amount of time after the incident.

When you throw in the fumbling around the prosecution has been doing in court it seems that there may not be any alternative but to drop the charges. Looks like that may be happening.

Bottled Water Industry Strikes Back ... Says Product Does Not Cause Global Warming

The argument has been around for a while now, but several US cities are encouraging people to stop drinking bottled water in order to help the planet. Today the bottled water industry fought back.

I'm still wondering why everyone is ignoring the new invention that solves the bottled water problem.
